Storage Requirements for Electrical Insulating Gloves (IEC 60903)
1. Storage Environment
- Temperature: 10°C – 25°C
Avoid exposure to extreme heat or cold, which may accelerate material aging. - Humidity: Relative humidity ≤ 70%
The storage area should be dry, well-ventilated, and free from condensation.
2. Lighting Conditions
- Store in a dark environment.
- Direct sunlight and ultraviolet (UV) radiation must be strictly avoided to prevent rubber degradation.
3. Site Environment
- Keep the storage area clean and free from contamination.
- Avoid contact with heat sources, oil, grease, acids, alkalis, solvents, and ozone-generating equipment (such as high-voltage devices or electric motors with strong discharge).
4. Storage Method
- Gloves should be stored hanging vertically , with fingertips pointing upward.
- Do not fold, compress, or stack under heavy pressure to prevent deformation or cracking.
5. Management & Maintenance
- Store gloves individually or in protective packaging to avoid mechanical damage.
- Perform dielectric withstand testing every 6 months in accordance with IEC 60903 requirements.
